Diver Game Jam Complete! Future Development Going Well

Late last night, I released my first full game: The Mantlepoint Discovery. This was also my first game jam, and although I ended up being the only entry (hope I win, fingers crossed), I think the soft pressure of the deadline is what allowed me to finally release a game. From the feedback I received on the jam release, it seems that my visual style is one of the games strengths, and I plan on leaning into that with future updates. Today, I got to work on one of the two updates I plan releasing, which would polish the visual style and add any content I had to cut for time. I admit that when I told my friend “eh I’ll finish the update by tomorrow” I was absolutely bluffing, however it seems that that might be the case. Today went very well, and I finished almost all of the features and changes I intended to make. Because it was so quick, I may delay the update a few days to allow more inspiration to come to me, and quite honestly to rest and catch up on outside responsibilities. To everyone who played my game, thank you. The positive support through every step of the process is appreciated greatly.

Thank you all,

Daniel B.
