The Mantlepoint Discovery

Life flowed through all of creation, until humanity made it itself. 

Concrete and machines that created life became humanity's most abominable sin. The Earth was cast out by its creator, leaving everything to die except for the last humans, sustained through their synthetic life.  As the Earth grows hollow, trenches splinter open to the very bottom of the Earth's crust. Those who are still spiritual think the Earth's mantle holds the last hope for humanity.
