Life flowed through all of creation, until humanity made it itself. The Earth was cast out by its creator, leaving all life to die except for humans, sustained through their synthetic life. As the earth grows hollow, trenches splinter open to the very bottom of the Earth's crust. Those who are still spiritual think the mantle holds the last hope for humanity.
